Blood Red Candy Pearl

Mazda in our opinion do one of the best reds and their soul red is one of our all time favourites. Our Blood Red candy pearl offers you the opportunity to recreate it in a three stage process which is much easier than the original 5 stage. A pearl application will always be easier than a true candy process. Being a semi-translucent ‘candy’ pearl it will be affected by the base colour. A lighter colour will brighten it but the loading levels/number of coats need to be increased to compensate.

• Translucent Pigments that behave like a candy effect paint without all of the hassle. These are used just like a three stage pearl process. Black, Silver or Gold Base, 3x Pearl Coats, then finish with a 2K Clearcoat. They will be affected by the base colour, the lighter the base, the lighter the overall effect.
